We offer a mobile marketplace platform with delivery drivers, for a flat monthly fee. We don’t take transaction percentage cuts off the back-end, like traditional third parties. This empowers businesses with a cost-effective platform that gets much more cost-efficient the more it is used by our clients and users.
You really can while using the Getit Local platform. In our first 6-months since launch – we helped 50+ local businesses save approximately $50,000 in back-end fees. We’re just getting started too. Soon we’ll be adding a community impact calculator to our technology to show you how much money you keep in the local economy with every order.
We are sad when this happens but sometimes businesses get busy or must close early in some extreme circumstances. However, if a business cannot accept your order, our customer experience team will call you from our support line to let you know that we cannot reach the business. We will offer to keep trying the business for the customer or we can process a refund immediately for that order for the customer. We are here to help in many ways with our great support team!
Yes, very safe! We do not actually store any credit card information in our technologies or on our servers. We work with a secure payment processing partner to keep our tech extra safe for our users!
Yes of course, just make a note within your order and also feel free to contact the restaurant directly after you have placed your order.
While life advice is always nice, your driver is looking for different kinds of tips. The kind that helps them make a living. You have two ways to tip through our application. Option 1- Pre-tip – before you finish your order in the cart screen, it will prompt you asking if you’d like to tip your driver. Option 2 – Tip after your trip, do you want to make sure your driver is friendly and handles your food with care? Feel free to tip after from the order history screen in your mobile app. Our team of drivers really appreciates the tips and support!
Hey, perfection takes time. Relax! Your order will arrive in due time. While it can vary based on a restaurant’s prep times, the average is between 40-50 minutes from when an order is placed to when it is delivered. Go for a walk or something :).
Not satisfied? You must be using the wrong app. But in the off chance that you aren’t, refunds on orders are processed the next business day and can take 5-7 business days to show in the account. So, if you don’t see it right away, don’t sweat it and keep checking back with your financial institution until it is processed, or feel free to reach out to us.
We get it, with so many delicious meals to choose from, it’s easy to second-guess your choice. Once an order is placed, you can cancel the order before the restaurant accepts it by going to order history and clicking ‘cancel’ next to the order.
If the restaurant accepts the order, you will have to call 343-809-4400 option 3 and speak to one of our customer experience specialists as soon as possible, so that they can contact the restaurant before they start to make the order. Once an order has been started, it is up to the restaurant to decide the fate of your wallet by choosing to accept the refund or not. The anticipation is a thrill ride!
If you want to change something on an order after it has been accepted, call 343-809-4400 option 3 as soon as possible and let us know of the change so that a customer experience specialist can reach out to the restaurant. If there is no cost for the change, the restaurant should be able to accommodate! If there is an extra cost, the customer may be required to put in a pick-up order to cover the cost difference for the item, as a credit card can not be recharged.
If you received your order and there is a mistake you need to call 343-809-4400 option 3 to let us know of the mistake. We will confirm with you if you want the correct item or a refund. We will then reach out to the restaurant and inform them of the mistake and let them know of the customer’s choice. If they want a refund, we will ask for the restaurant’s approval. If they want the item remade, we will ask the restaurant if they are willing to accommodate (i.e., cover the food cost). If they agree we will coordinate with our dispatch and send a driver to get the food delivered.

Science! Magic! Wizardry! Just kidding, here’s how it works: We have a flat rate model per delivery vs. taking a % of your sales. With a flat rate, you always pay the same, regardless of the ticket price. Not only does this save you money, but it also helps alleviate operational budget guesses. It is the only model that has a decreasing cost per transaction as your volume increases.
